Following on from my recent post about Plazes, the Plazes blog today announced the release of the Plazes API 1.0. It's available from here, and you have to register for a developer key (much like Amazon, Flickr, Google, etc.). The Plazer client has also been updated with Skype support. I'm hoping that they might add auto-reconnect capability, too.
