Flickr goes Gamma

The changes that were announced on the FlickrBlog have gone live. Flickr is no longer Beta, it’s Gamma šŸ™‚

In practice this means little drop down menus in the page banner instead of static links, and a refreshed layout featuring sets on the right of the photos page. I’ve yet to try the new Organizr. At the moment, my first impressions are positive. It looks neat, tidy, and is functional – although the new layout will take a bit of getting used to.

Update: OK so I discovered the first annoyance, the Groups functionality has been “temporarily” removed from Organizr. Hope that’s not too temporary.
