Time to mention some of the great stuff that has been published on developerWorks recently. These articles are all part of the series that was established by the What’s New in WebSphere Message Broker v6 article, and provide deeper technical information in individual areas of the technology.
- Using Java in WebSphere Message Broker. Peter Crocker is an expert in this aspect of the broker technology, which has been massively enhanced in version 6. I’ve not had a lot of opportunity to work with it in practice yet. I’d be interested to hear what experiences customers are having in this area.
- JMS transport nodes in WMB v6, by Rich Bicheno from our performance team.
- File processing options with WMB File Extender, by my erstwhile co-author Ben Thompson.
I’m currently working more on the architecture side of the fence, but I’m still interested in implementations and getting my hands on the technical side of things. Let me know if there are areas of Message Broker you’d be interested in hearing about.
In other news, I’m probably going to be speaking at the October/November meeting of the WebSphere Integration User Group in the UK.
