I’ve been using Lotus Notes since leaving university, and it certainly took me a while to appreciate it. I still sometimes find Team Rooms frustrating, but now and then I don’t much like some of the alternatives (wikis, for example) either. The power of being able to replicate the data between server and client is great; the indexing works well; and overall, I’ve learned to love it.

Alan Lepofsky’s Notes Hints and Tips blog is well worth following, as is Mary Beth Raven’s blog on Hannover.
