Meme under protest

I’ve been tagged for one of these meme things. I’m faintly annoyed, but it’s a slow posting day so I’m going to play along. This one is about “getting to know [me]”.

What time did you get up this morning?
8.30am

Diamonds or pearls?
Weird question. Diamonds probably. But I’m not obliged to wear either of them, right?

What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
Hot Fuzz.

What is your favourite TV show?
Currently: Doctor Who. Ever: Babylon 5.
Hello, I’m a geek.

What do you usually have for breakfast?
Cereal and a tea.

Favourite cuisine?
Italian I guess.

What food do you dislike?
Too many things, I’m fussy.

What is your favourite CD at the moment?
“Twelve Stops and Home” (The Feeling). Brilliant upbeat pop.

Morning or night person?
I operate better at the start of the day, usually.

Favourite sandwich?
Bacon.

What characteristic do you despise?
Arrogance.

Favourite item of clothing?
My eightbar t-shirt 🙂

If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would it be?
Oh, mind gone blank. I want to see more of the historic European capitals that I haven’t visited yet, like Prague for example.

What colour is your bathroom?
Blue.

Favourite brand of clothing?
Can I just say that these are girly questions? I don’t particularly care.

Where would you retire to?
Ola is keen on Cornwall. Seems a bit far from London to me, but I do like it there.

What was your most memorable birthday?
Always my most recent, since I generally delete memories as I go… don’t remember much before the age of 20.

Favourite sport to watch?
Football. But I don’t watch much sport.

When is your birthday?
12 March

What is your shoe size?
Why would anyone want to know this?

Pets?
No.

What did you want to be when you were little?
See my answer to the birthday question.

What is your favourite flower?
Girly question! Based on my photographic habits, probably daffodils.

What date on the calendar are you looking forward to?
This Friday, when I get a day off and get to spend time with family.

What music do you like?
Virtually anything except rap, hip-hop, dance, or other genres that I classify as noise.

Your Favourite Book?
Stuff by Terry Pratchett or Anne McCaffrey.

Oh, right, now I have to tag someone. Let’s see whether Adrian, Roo or Missy are up for this.
